Like all charitable organisations we depend on the good will of volunteers to make things work. We are lucky to have some devoted and capable instructors most of whom have been in Concord as young people. Our latest volunteers this year are Josh , Ralph and Danny who are helping with the pit and still playing when needed, Kimberly who has returned after many years to help with the Colour Guard, she was a member of our multi award winning summer and winter guards in the ’80’s and 90’s.
We are always keen to hear from anyone who has skills we could use. If you think you would like to explore teaching brass, drums, pit or guard please get in touch to discuss without obligation. It can be very rewarding and great fun. The more of us there are the better we can make the experience for the kids. For old Concord hands it is not the massive time commitment demanded in the past so you can still have a family life . Of course you would have to undertake a vetting check which Concord will arrange and pay for .
